How to Know if A Mercedes is FBS3/ FBS4 before Key Programming?

One customer asked if VVDI Key Tool Plus will program smart or semi-smart function. Here comes info about his car:
VIN: #4JGDF7CE0DA21----
2013 Mercedes GL450
Also, he wonders how to know if it is a FBS3 or FBS4 system and if he could use Xhorse Key to do it.

If it is FBS3, Key Tool Plus and Xhorse Key would do the job.
So, here comes the ways to tell from FBS3 or 4:
1)Read vehicle via OBD using Key Programmer
Like in Key Tool Plus, select Immo programming>>Benz>>Automatically diagnose models

2)Search for system by VIN
3)Check out numbers on original key
7 digits = FBS3, 8 digits = FBS4

Once we know it is a FSB3, we could use Xhorse FBS3 Key and Key Programmer (like Key Tool Plus/ IM608...) for this job.
